Rafael is Director at Bow Tie Construction and is experienced construction professional with a strong record in delivering high-end builds and deep retrofits. Specialising in Passivhaus, insulation, airtightness, heat pumps and ventilation, he brings technical rigour, innovation and strong project management to every scheme.
He has led multidisciplinary design teams, overseen technical and M&E design, has developed offsite solutions including PorchPod and VentBox and is a patent holder for multiple retrofit technologies. He is dedicated to making high-quality retrofit accessible and practical for everyone.
